A STEP CHANGE IN WATER WELL CAMERAS
Customers kept asking, and we finally relented. The Insight Shallow Work Omni HD Camera is designed to service the most challenging water wells. It provides capabilities far beyond those of traditional designs in that it:
- Records and transmits in HD resolution
- Utilizes a fully digital telemetry link between tool and surface
- Offers the most powerful lighting on the market, easily capable of illuminating 24″ bores
- Can be deployed from 1/4″ coax much longer than the typical 5,000′ limit of SD composite analog
- Can tolerate temperatures much higher than the typical 50 °C
- Is available with pressure ratings up to 5,000 PSI
- Can be customized to include other sensor options such as pressure, temperature, salinity, and TDS
Shallow Work Omni is one of our newest tools, and leverages high-performance, modular components designed for the Insight4 ecosystem. So, in addition to coax or fiber, it may alternately be equipped with telemetry tailored to twisted pair or e-line / e-slickline. And, with a powerful onboard processor, it makes the perfect platform on which to base custom tools. It’s found use in oil & gas, mining, waste disposal, sea floor exploration, and construction applications.
